• Vologdaenergo Branch realized a socially important project in the Vologda Region — commissioned after reconstruction SS 35/10 kV Sheksna-Gaz within the framework of technological connection of compressor station Sheksninskaya of the North European Gas Pipeline (NEL) to the electric grids of Vologdaenergo Branch of IDGC of the North-West.

April

• Professional skill competitions for operating and dispatcher services’ personnel of branches of JSC IDGC of the North-West were held for the first time.

May

• President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev awarded an Order of Friendship to the operator of the crane drilling machine of Vologdaenergo Branch of JSC IDGC of the North-West Victor Varentsov in the Ekaterininsky Hall of the Kremlin.

June

• Annual general shareholders’ meeting of JSC IDGC of the North-West chaired by Deputy Director General for Corporative Management and Property of JSC IDGC Holding Alexey Perepelkin was held.

August

• From August, 1 the new organizational structure of JSC IDGC of the North-West was introduced.
• The United Council of Youth of JSC IDGC of the North-West headed by Maria Churina was founded.

September

• All-Russian professional skill competitions for operating and repair personnel of distribution grids were held in Vologda. The team of JSC IDGC of the North-West took the third place.

October

• JSC IDGC of the North-West was included in the rating of 250 largest companies of the North-West Federal District of Expert Severo-Zapad magazine.

November

• JSC IDGC of the North-West obtained a passport of readiness for operation in winter 2011/2012.

December

• Representatives of Novgorodenergo Branch of JSC IDGC of the North-West took part in the open master-class on providing first aid to an injured in accordance with the method of doctor of medical sciences Valery Bubnov at the 14^th International Specialized Exhibition “Electric Grids of Russia”.
• The Company’s history museum was founded at Komienergo Branch of JSC IDGC of the North-West.
• “Best Accountant of JSC IDGC of the North-West” Award was organized for the first time. Main prizes were won by Arkhenergo Branch.

2012

February

• A new Collective Agreement of JSC IDGC of the North-West for a period of one year (from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012) was signed.
• The school of REG managers was opened in JSC IDGC of the North-West on the base of the Saint Petersburg Energy Institute.
• In the Vologda Region IDGC of the North-West commenced implementation of top-priority investment projects of 2012 — construction of substation 110/35/10 kV Yuzhnaya in Cherepovets and reconstruction of substation 110/35/10/6kV Zapadnaya.

April

• Schemes and Programs for Electric Energy Sector Development for the Arkhangelsk Region, the Republic of Komi and the Novgorod Region until 2016 and the Vologda Region, the Republic of Karelia and the Murmansk Region until 2017 were approved.

May

• “Let’s Save the Forest Energy” action was held in JSC IDGC of the North-West.
• JSC IDGC of the North-West supported the All-Russian Historic and Memorial Action Victory Banner Relay Race which started in Pskov from the Alexander Nevsky monument.

• The President Dmitry Medvedev awarded an Order of Friendship to the employee of Komienergo Branch of IDGC of the North-West Galina Zelentsova.

June

• On June 21 the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of JSC IDGC of the North-West was held.

July

• In Petrozavodsk, within the framework of festive events devoted to the City Day, the III Annual Graffiti Festival “Right-of-Way 2012” organized by the City Youth Center was held. The wall of Substation No.1 Petrozavodsk of Karelenergo Branch became a site for creative work on subjects “Caution! Electricity” and “Technology and Fantastic Fiction”.
• Director General Sergey Titov held a working meeting with Deputy Authorized Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Northwestern Federal District Sergey Zimin on matters of preparation of the grid complex to the autumn-winter period and implementation of the energy efficiency and energy saving programs.

August

• On August 22-24 IDGC of the North-West hosted the First All-Russian Conference “Children’s Electrical Safety is Above All Else” in Veliky Novgorod. In addition to specialists of IGDC/RGC representatives of the Institute of Authorized Officers on Children’s Rights at the President of the RF, Ministry of Science and Education of the RF, EMERCOM, Ministry of the Interior of the RF, ministries/departments of education of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service of Technological and Atomic Control (Rostekhnadzor), the Federal Agency for Young People’s Affairs (Rosmolodezh), Russian Orthodox Church and public organizations took part in the conference.
• Vologdaenergo Branch implemented a socially important project in the Vologda Region — it put into operation overhead line 10/0.4 kV Mikroraion Airport.

September

• Director General Sergey Titov took part in celebrations devoted to the 1150-year anniversary of Russian statehood in the Novgorod and Pskov Region. At the solemn reception in the Novgorod Kremlin Sergey Mitin presented to Sergey Titov a regional award — a sign “1150-year Anniversary of Russian Statehood”.
• Director General of JSC IDGC of the North-West Sergey Titov discussed matters relating to the implementation of the investment program with heads of the region — meetings with First Deputy Head of the Republic of Karelia for economic policy Oleg Gromov, Deputy Governor of the Novgorod Region Yury Malanin, First Deputy Governor of the Pskov Region Sergey Pernikov, Deputy Authorized Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Northwestern Federal District Sergey Zimin.
• JSC IDGC of the North-West obtained the first patent for useful model “High Voltage Disconnecting Switch”.

• The team of JSC IDGC of the North-West became the 7^th out of 13 participants in the All-Russian Competition for Professional Mastership of Brigades of Services of Insulation and Protection of Electric Equipment from Overvoltage in the distribution grid complex of IDGC Holding in Astrakhan.

October

• In the Republic of Komi an atlas of the electric complex of the region was created.
• Experience of JSC IDGC of the North-West was presented in Moscow in the International Electrical Energy Forum UPGrid “Electric Grid Complex. Innovations. Development”.

November

• JSC IDGC of the North-West obtained a passport of readiness for operation in winter 2012/2013, certifying the Company’s readiness to the autumn-winter period.

December

• A new interactive service, the map reflecting current utilization of main substations, was opened on the client portal of IDGC of the North-West.
• Pskovenergo Branch provided necessary capacity for conduct of stage V of the Biathlon World Cup and completed works for technological connection to the grids of new neighborhood unit No.12 in the Pskov Region and a complex of buildings of the Drama Theatre in Pskov.
• One of the key investment projects of JSC IDGC of the North-West in the Vologda Region was completed — DS 110 kV for connection of GT CHP Krasavino was put into operation.
• In order to set unified requirements for all branches of JSC IDGC of the North-West in the field of environment protection a new environmental policy was adopted in JSC IDGC of the North-West.
