Governmental authorities and local self-governing bodies

Interaction with governmental authorities and local self-governing bodies is highly important in creation of a positive image of JSC IDGC of the North-West and positioning of the Company as a representative of socially responsible business. Within the framework of this interaction issues of coordination in implementation of regional investment programs by the branches and plans of general development of the electric grid infrastructure are resolved.

In 2012 at the level of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RF in the Northwestern Federal District a resolution was passed to establish Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization (ANO) Strategic Partnership for Economic and Social Development of the North-West of the Russian Federation. IDGC of the North-West is a member of this Partnership confirming thereby its commitment to sustainable development of the regions of its presence.

Forms of interaction 2011-2012 events
Meetings, signing agreements on cooperation for social and economic development of regions In 2011 meetings were conducted and agreements on cooperation were signed with the Vologda and Novgorod Regions, Government of the Republic of Karelia.
In 2012 Director General of the Company conducted working meetings with all governors of the Northwestern Federal District and their field-oriented deputies on issues of coordination of actions in implementation by branches of their regional investment programs and plans of development of the electric grid infrastructure.
In 2012 on the invitation of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RF in the Northwestern Federal District Director General Sergey Titov took part in a meeting devoted to the establishment of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization (ANO) Strategic Partnership for Economic and Social Development of the North-West of the Russian Federation.
Participation in working groups of government authorities and local self-governing bodies Employees of the Company participate in elections into local legislative bodies. Heads of the PR departments of Vologdaenergo and Novgorodenergo branches of IDGC of the North-West are assistants to deputies of Regional Assembly — the branches’ directors.
In 2012 joint working groups with executive authorities of the Vologda Region and the Republic of Karelia were formed in order to resolve the “’last mile” issue.
Information disclosure The Company regularly refers information to the Federal Tariff Service and Federal Antimonopoly Service and their regional administrations in accordance with legal requirements for disclosure of information in the electricity retail and wholesale markets.
